    Default Look into my eyes....

Found this funnelweb spider staring at me from its burrow a few days back. The eyes really reflect the light so darkened the body so only the eyes are visible from the darkness

This its pretty good for this fortnights theme. For anyone who remembers the movie Neverending Story, this actually reminds me of that wolf that was in the cave

Slight crop for composition, usual PP workflow just darkened the inside of the cave and spider to only make the eyes and the front legs visible

Spider idea is good for the week's theme but this one I find a bit too blurry. Eyes do stand out!

This is spooky and I'm not afraid of spiders! I think you could crop a little from the left. I like the fact that the web looks like the webs you see people use for decorations at Halloween and the eyes are too scary

    Thanks for your comments guys!

Hazel, when i took this picture I forgot to stop down as the DOF on this lens and TC when shooting so close is very small. I was surprise i managed to get the eyes in focus

I was thinking about deleting this originally but i thought the eyes peering out of the darkness were interesting. Technically the shot is not great I agree with you there, but for this type of theme I think it works.

    Thanks for your honest comments

    Regards

I like the angled position of the spider and the yellow eyes staring at me. I'd crop all around so that the white web becomes the frame for the spider.
