This male lion had a nice lunch and was resting near a water body. He then got up and walked to the water hole and quenched his thirst. I used the 7D and 70-200 f/4 IS for this image.

Hi Sanjeev, I like the alert stare from the lion, and thats some mane the big fellow has on him. Hope you got some walking shots.

Handsome male ! Wish the BG was cleaner - I'm sure you have many more images with better BGs.
Where was this image made ?

Hi Sanjeev - looks like a healthy looking male with a nice full mane. If it were mine I would apply a luminosity mask to tone the highlights a little and I might also consider dropping the reds slightly in hue/saturation. I bet if you were taking this now you'd up the ISO and the aperture for more dof.

Think it looks a little overexposed, but that has retained a lot of info in the darker areas. So Rachel's suggestion is a good one. After applying the luminosity mask, just check to see that you still have some proper highlights in the image (perhaps around his eyes and muzzle) or you'll fall into the trap of having an image which is short of contrast. You could add/adjust these highlights (after applying the luminosity mask) either with the dodge tool or by masking out some of the effect of your luminosity mask and revealing the original underneath.

Nice-looking male Sanjeev. Like it was said above, I would have liked more DOF (I generally do with shorter focal length wildlife shots, but that doesn't make it a de facto rule )
I do feel the "top down gameviewer angle" is a bit prominent here, no doubt accentuated by the short-ish focal length you used. Very little one can do about that in close sightings.
