    Taken on my local river this dipper having a bit of a scratch,cannon500mm IS L F4,7D,tripod,iso800,F5.6,1/1000S,crop,sharpened,denoised BG/FG,levels.thanks for looking.

    Christopher looks like the conditions where a bit on the dull side, really like the pose and the feather details you have got.
    Spent some time this year with these birds must say I did not do as well as this.

    A very nice slice-of-life shot, I like it. The low angle and general simplicity are excellent. Jonathan's repost is an improvement on the processing, I think I would prefer it even a 1/2 stop lighter.

    Hi Christopher, nice detail and lighting.. would like to of seen the birds face but I guess that's not the look you where going for :) ..
