Expertly designed and executed, Matthew. Is this remotely triggered or are they really this approachable?

Love it. Not just a nice eagle shot, but a wonderful environmental feeling to it. You must have been wearing a wet suit to get so low in the icy stream with a shallow lens.

Dang Matthew, you should really, really post more of your images on here! I love visiting
your site and viewing your images, especially since we're both in Cleveland.

This shot is simply to die for!

Excellent shot Matthew! I wish I had brought a wide angle and waders last year....

    Lovely shot Matthew.
The eagle is beautifully captured and the overall setting is magnificent.
Like a couple of others I am curious how you managed to get so close with a wide angle lens. Are the eagles really that approachable?

This is wonderful Matthew. I love the sweep on the mountain slope from left to right and the meandering waterway.
    Superb composition and POV.
Love the water coming off the tail as well.

Fine image...my eye doesn't want to leave the frame. Everything is interesting from the bird to the stones in the river to the mountain, to the water flowing off the bird's tail.

Most are not that approachable, but this particular bird seemed to have no fear and landed near me to grab some salmon snacks.

Such a cool perspective here making this image rock. Geez the environment alone is stellar and the Eagle looks like such a BAD ***. very cool
