Hi Gerhard - Very nice portrait in beautiful light. Nice detail and pov. I just wish for a little more room below. If it were mine, I would burn the highlights on the tusks slightly.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Was going to say exactly what Rachel said. The colour palette is lovely and the details great. Just enough dof to cover the whole WH. I think you cropped just below the chin because of grasses coming up underneath - can just see them appearing in the bottom of the frame.

what an interesting face for a portrait. I like all the brown tones in the color palette here.

The light has provided nice depth to the pig's skin and features. Gorgeous tone of light as well.
I agree with the comments above on toning down the tusks somewhat.

That light is so complimentary to the earthy tones of the Warthog. You might want to look at reducing the exposure of the top left corner.

Just echoing the congrats on a sharp picture in great light. I think I agree with Jamie on the top left corner as well as it could be a distraction for some.

Echo the above comments, with the 300 f/2.8 performing nicely here Gerhard, love the light also.
