    Excellent image, Mike. Love the smooth background, nice head turn, IQ and showing the green colored spot.

    Very pretty bird, perch, and background. I might slightly reduce the highlights on the perch and add just a touch more sharpening to the bird.

    The subject looks plenty sharp to me, but I agree I would tone down the perch (which is very nice in shape and texture). Good comp, beautiful BG, and the shining green speculum is fantastic!

    I love these sweet little ducks. They are very wary so I appreciate how well you did in the field to get this close.Perfect head turn and BG.
    The IQ is excellent as well.
    I am OK with the perch brightness. I like the textures of the rock and the way it sits in the frame. The bits of green moss really anchor the image as they match the BG green so well.
    All in all, a lovely shot.
