This chick of Oriental dwarf kingfisher is did not want to look at us for long time so i decide to shoot what ever i get and crawled towards the bird and got some beautiful shot after some time he give us the head turn and God what i can expect more..................

I love the idea here and I like the shot, but it kind of leaves me wanting either less or more. I either wantto see the bird's face or a smaller detail shot of the bird. Very cool and creative idea. On the tech side, I'd definitely push the ISO on the 1DX more to attain a higher SS, I doubt you'd be sacrificing anything until you go above ISO 1000.
The idea is good since the bird has nice plumage patterns and was facing perfectly perpendicular to you. This would have been better as a vertical with more of the subject showing and with more dof by stopping down even more (you had more than enough room to raise the iso to help you here).
