Very nice Satish - beautiful colours and habitat. Head-turn would have lifted it further,

    Hi Satish,

This one works very well for me - I am a fan of a recognizable environment in the photo and this is a great example for me. The pose more than offsets the Munia being partially obscured by the plant - to me it creates a 'shy' or 'coy' sense about the bird. I also like it that you did not clone out every speck off of the head, I appreciate the realism that results. Very nice shot, very well done.

    Satish:

I like this one too. Coy pose as mentioned, works well here, strong sense of environment without overpowering the bird. Neat grip on the reeds.

There is a very subtle halo around the top of the head.

    Cheers

    Randy Sir,
Agree about halo around the head. I will take of it.

    Regards,
    Satish.

Very nicely processed and I like the natural surroundings. I am sure you would have wished for the vertical grass stem not to have obscured quite so much of the bird but it is a fine image.
