    This breeding plumed Grebe is from an Alaska trip in May of 06.
    Shot from the car window on a roadside pond.
    Canon 1D Mll,600+1.4,iso 400,1/200 F11, fill flash.

    Nice reflection on this one, have you tried a verticle crop?

    Lovely deatils and exposure control. I like the reflection and think this would work well as a vertical too:cool:

    Normally I don't mind a copyright on an image, but this one cuts off the tip of the reflection.

    Very nice image. I think you could try boosting the saturation on this one. Maybe not on the whole image but on certain colors?

    Hi Chris,

    Very good for a grab from the car!!!

    Good suggestions above, I would have placed the copyright with a rotation, on on of the sides, to keep it out of the composition.

    I would do a vertical on this for sure. The blacks look like they could be intensified. In Photoshop, Select a Selective Color Adjustment Layer down in the lower right corner of Photoshop. From the drop down menu, choose Black and then move the lowest slider to the right just a few until it looks good. Hopefully this make sense. :D
