Taken at the farm. I wish the head was angled more toward us, but I liked the arched wings.:)

I like the wing shapes also Shawn. Good point you made in the head angle, also flash would have helped with the contrast as it would have lit up the shadows a bit. Good job with the tough light angle.

    Good shooting with you.

    Hey Shawn!

Was great meeting and chatting with you and your lovely wife last week, please say hello for me!

Beautiful image with the wings like that, these birds look so elegant when they are landing! I have a similar image but yours is li up more underneath than mine. I think you did well here. I think you could use a touch of unsharp mask.

Nice flight pose, sharp detail and very good composition. A little fill flash would have helped here. I need to get to the Alligator Farm !

Hey Shawn, a treat to meet you and Amy. One more vote for flash, I kept using mine all day. The wings, as you mention, are the highlight of the image.

    Hey Shawn,

I like this image as presented. I think you did a good job keeping everything in focus. The under wings are lit enough for my taste and the eyes are extremely sharp.

It was nice meeting you and I hope to see you in our SECOND GTG soon!

    Shawn,

Great meeting you and Amy last week. Nice pose and the other comments about head angle and fill flash were already made.
