Keep or bin?
Looked at this image a lot and can not make up my mind about it I like the end result but must admit it was more luck than management.
1/50 @7.1 iso500. I do understand that I have a very slow shutter speed which would not capture the movement.
Hope this is not too basic a question should I bin or keep, any help on this would be much appreciated.

The eye and bill are sharp. Hard drive storage is cheap. You might find it's perfect for something someday, maybe something creative. It's a fun image. Keep it!
I delete a LOT of stuff, but I'd keep this one. You can always review old images as you have time and maybe you would decide someday to delete it, but no need to decide now.
I'd defintely keep this one. I would 'maybe' get rid of the out of focus parts near his stomach and below the tail
feathers that are peeking thru from the opposite side.

Keep it, has super Comp, the perch detail is fantastic.
Nothing I don't like about it, BG is great too, super sharp on the face beak.
Hey Keith, good to see you posting in various other Forums within BPN, it will only bolster you knowledge and get alternative POV.
You need to break from the off square format and you can buy me a pint each time you keep to this shape.I would look to going landscape, add some more sharpening to the head & bill, it needs it and can take it. Likewise the post, it need some sharpening too. At that SS you need to be rock steady to avoid camera shake. The low SS has created a nice effect in the body and adds interest to the image, breaks the 'norm'. Like the colours, but am at the other house this week so using the laptop.
Keep things coming and don't forget to add your thoughts to other postings, it can always make a difference.

Post Production: It’s ALL about what you do with the tools and not, which brand of tool you use.
If it was mine I would definitely keep it. A very interesting image different from the norm.

I've looked at this several times, Keith... the more I look the more I like! Perhaps a bit less perch (just above the knot hole) and a teeny bit more room on the right (or maybe not) and a tad off the top? Maybe you could take off the "secondary" crescent just under the tummy. Regardless, I'd keep it!

Thanks a lot folks for your comments and tips I think I will keep it and hope that my processing skills get better, must say I do like a lot of the things in this image.

An unequivocal KEEP as-is. All said above. Maybe a slight bump is saturation and lightening of the subject would work. Nicely done Keith.
I liked the motion. The background was clean, but it seemed too cool. Changed hue of greens, curves to darken, vignette.
