    Default Bar-tailed Godwit

    One of our summer migratory waders from the northern hemisphere.
    While in Cairns, I spent a lovely session photographing godwits. I timed the visit with a high-tide dawn, so I had to wade out into the water and shoot back into the beach.

    This is sweet. Love the layered bg and all the colors there in. The pose is excellent and your super low angle does it justice. Nothing not to like here.

    Excellent image with great IQ. Love the pose with open beak, beautiful colors, nice low angle, wonderful colors in the BG and composition.
