Welcome to BPN, Max. You'll find a # of other members from Down Under on this site. Looking forward to some of your images. There are several photographers on BPN with the Bigma. One of them that I can think of offhand is Roman Kurywczak who posts mostly in Wildlife, but also in avian and landscape from time. Let us know if you have any questions.

Just got my Bigma in the post today!! Ecstatic, and wanting to try it out tomorrow :-) I think with every lense there's limitations but you just find ways to work around them, I've found my OS "swims" abit but hay it still works:-)

Welcome, can't wait to see some images.

Congrats on the new camera, you'll find many here who will have suggestions. That one is a way out of my range, but I'm laughing at the name, I had no idea there was a camera actually called a Bigma, somebody at Sigma is clever.

Hi Max. I am laughing too cause I thought it was a slang term for a large Sigma lens! Can't say I know about it but Marina gave a great suggestion. Welcome to BPN!
