    Alan:

Superb dorsal view, with fine detail, head turn, and just enough variation in the bg to be attractive. The diagonal pose works well with the chosen comp.

Would be nice to see it at 900 pix tall.

    Cheers

Love the slight wisps of cloud in the BG.

Great job, Alan. Love the plumage detail and the warm plumage against the blue sky. Head turn with eye contact is the icing on top.

Great shot of this beautiful Tundra Peregrine. Awesome topside pose with a great HA and beautiful feather detail.
Another nice set up shot. Must have been pretty close to have shot with a 300mm. TFS

Wow! This is really superb, Alan. Looks a little different than the Peregrine Falcon I know, but David already let us know it is a Tundra Peregrine. Lovely detail and pose and nice BG. Loi

Super shot! The feather detail on the wings is wonderful. Would you mind explaining how you use an owl decoy to attract peregrines?

Hey Shane, I use a decoy Owl on poles placed in the path of migrating Hawks. I go into full and complete details in my ebook " The Photographers Guide to Attracting Birds" Thanks.

That's one heck of capture Alan. The flight pose is killer, and I'm not sure I would change a thing.
