It is often difficult to visualise the eye of these animals, I was glad I could see it in this frame. I guess there is a slight Magenta cast, will remove it if you guys suggest.

Sanjeeve, this is a very nice portrait of a topi in soft light and lovely BG. I wonder if you could brighten the eyes a tad. Loi

Nice light and composition. I might reduce oranges a little as it looks to have a slight cast, and I would like to see more of the eye on this side.
    Background is good.

Hi Sanjeev - Nice portrait with good sharpness and detail. Your techs are much better here. I agree with your self-critique and think it would be worth it to try to remove the cast.

    Hello Sanjeev,

Great portrait and lovely colours indeed, the Topi stands out beautifully against the soft BG. I agree with the above comments regarding the need to brighten the eye. Nice sighting, very well captured!

    Kind regards,

Nice head-on of this hard-to-photograph species.
I agree on the colour - to me the coat is also VERY smooth, as if you ran noise reduction on it destroying the fine detail?
I would crop even tighter from RHS and bottom?

Thanks everyone. Morkel, I did not apply any NR on the subject.

Hi Sanjeev, if IQ allows then a tighter crop I think would be better. I think if you could have waited to get a side on view may have offered a better profile. Agree with Morkel on the lack of detail & the colour issues raised in earlier replies.
