    Default BCNH Fishing.

    I found it fascinating watching this bird fishing. Sometimes it stays motionless for a long time just watching the water.
    Other time, like on this picture, gets more involved, puts his beak into the water and wiggles its tongue
    to attract fish or frogs or baby turtles.

    This is an impressive image, Karl. The details are just outstanding. The bird pops right out of the frame!!! Super pose and environment.

    It almost looks like a studio shot the lighting is so even. I see a bit of a shadow, was it overcast?

    Hi Karl, excellent detail, and just love your low shooting angle. Great eye, and great that we can see his tongue inside his beak. Well captured.

    Thanks James. The weather was ideal for shooting at this location; it was light overcast with white clouds.
