This is an image of my first charter boat "The Molly". It was a 16' Bubba with a 15hp motor.
My first client was Nat Geo photographer Tim Laman.

Those who have been aboard the "Hooptie Deux" will probably agree it is a step up from "The Molly".

Well you had to start somewhere! I'm sure though your current clients appreciate that you've "upgraded!"

So this is you in the boat??? How did you take your picture??

Okay really I must go to sleep I'm way too slap happy..... However I read the name of your new boat and am on the floor rolling in laughter, you have quite the humor I think Sir.

Come on over, my Father will put you in his "photo" boat, either a wooden canoe in the backwaters of Minnesota, or a Raft down the Taos Box section of the Rio Grande.

    James:

Suspect there were some wet rides in that one! It is fun to see how things evolve over time. My boats keep getting smaller and smaller, so I can get into tighter areas. But of course, I shoot on quiet northern lakes, not Tampa Bay! No container ships or cruise liners to rock my boats!

    Cheers

You were a spring chicken in this picture. What year was it? You may have come a long way, but I have a feeling you had just a much fun on the Molly as you do on the Hooptie.

AC DC on the Molly? Looking like a true pro here James. And Tim Laman? I'da been happy to lug him around on a raft! LOL. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to more happy times on the Hooptie!
