    One from yesterday we went to get a few images of the deer rut this is one from the day.

    Lovely soft light here, Phillip. The steamy breath is always a good feature of these photos. Do you have any that are shot a wee bit wider? Would have loved more of the branch on top to "Frame" him?
    I'm not familiar with the colour of these bucks, but do I see some magenta coming through?

    This for me is one of those shots that's great ut needs a dozen little tweaks.

    like Morkel I agree either all of the steamy breath or none, even without the steam I think more room on the right.

    i also like the above branch over him.

    seems like a very nice environmental shot, is there room to show more, or is ths full frame??

    the techs on the animal are great.

    could also use some blur or burn on the FG brown red foliage which is a bit distracting.
