6 hours of standing and waiting...........400 frames........for maybe 2 I like. This is the best head angle i got. I saw Daniel did these guys with overcast.......mine were in the shade and of course landed on the lower perch. Cropped off rest of tree in back. The upper one had a high key look to it......and will post it in the future. Canon Mark 3 with the Sigma 300 -8000 & the 1.4 tele at 1120mm at ISO 1250 at f8 and 1/2000 sec. Flash with BB at minus 1&1/3. Noise ninja aplied in PP. Hope they are still going at it as i have the next 2 days free to try for better BG and head angle. As always, comments welcomed and appreciated

    Hi Roman!

Congratulations on getting the moment. Yes, almost ... but I have to admire your stamina and determination. The eye on the female looks a little strange, but the overall sharpness, and details look great. Very special and I hope you get them in the next few days!

Nice use of flash. Yes to the funky female eye an easy eye doctor repair. You needed to be higher and lefter, but at least it is not too tight in the frame!

    Hi Artie,
Welcome back........higher......impossible at that location...........lefter..........hence the almost........but in my defense........I had 4 seconds at 1120mm to get it........but still.........hence the almost.........not to tight in the frame............contrary to popular belief........I do listen :D:D:D..........sometimes . The other natural perch in the area.........is even higher. I'm not to fond of the 2x.........escpecially with the sigmonster............but I may try it tomorrow.........can't hurt!
