    Lovely bird, perch and background (BG). Your composition works well and I love the colors together. While I don't really mind the bird looking away in this frame, I think I would rather have it angled toward the viewer. I would give the bird some more sharpening.

    Very prettu bird and I like the comp, BG, perch. Subject angled away hurts the image IMO...almost always best to have it at very least parallel to your camera, even better angled slightly towards. Is 1/50 correct? If so I would encourage you to raise the ISO to give you a better shuuter speed and subsequent better keeper rate as far as sharpness goes.

    Daniel, 1/50 is correct. I didn't raise the ISO because I was using an old 400D at that moment and it really sucks at higher ISO's.
