    While driving down Shell Drive on the way this morning to Rookery Bay, saw a pair of STK's flying by.

    Snapped a couple shots and did a quick conversion here on my new Mac Book Pro. :D using Lightroom Beta 2.0.

    Hi Michael,
    Lighting looks a bit harsh as on my monitor..not much detail in the blacks/whites on the wing underside. You may want to lighten the eye a bit also. i think you've captured a nice position in the frame........but the lighting is a little tough to overcome.

    Great subject but otherwise this does not work for me. I agree with Roman as to the harsh light and the too-dark eye. In addition the bird's posture is awkward. Best would have been the "T" image with the bird directly over your head and the wings flat out.
