Photographing the Least Terns hatching this summer was one of the best photographic experiences of my year, and this image in particular evokes many fond memories. You can see that the second chick has just hatched and still has evidence of egg tooth. I love the way the newborn nuzzled right up against its sibling. The sun had just begun to rise and there was a stunning moon in the BG but a bit too high to include in the frame. Therefore, I took a few pictures of the moon and at some point may try to superimpose the moon into this image.
I like the low angle, light, exposure, interaction, IQ, lone grass and composition. I would remove the black spot near the lone grass or tone it down. Excellent image Marina!

Hi Marina, I like your image design by placing them to the LRC. The light looks soft, and you have exposed the chicks nicely. Good fluffy detail showing up too.
Ah, how cute! Tender moment and vulnerable stage of life. Love the comp. I agree I would remove the black object below the vegetation, and I'd be tempted to try a version with slightly warmer color temp.
I love it , its a amazing composition everything perfect about this. Like how the sand fades in the BG and the blue starts. it will be interesting to see the moon sometime..:)
