    black cormorants - I took this photo At Elwood beach before work at 7:45am on 2/9/13 , shot at 1/1600 ƒ/8 ISO 400 700 mm with slight crop.
    Equipment used, Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon 500mm mk ii IS, and 1.4 iii extender :)

    Intersting one , the full line of birds make it interesting to me to look at
    the small thing i may change is to take a bit off the top and bottom to make it look more pano and more focus is drawn to the bird line
    its always nice to see new ways of working

    Thanks for the feedback, I though of the pano look but I really like the blured horizon at the top of the page so that's why I left it.. cheers, Merv

    Nice serene image with lovely symmetry Merv - I'd lighten just a tad and possibly take some off the bottom to get the birds out of the centre,
