I am not going to write too much about this, so I can get your unbiased opinions.... and you can possible guess what it is.

I think it could be a wisteria seed. I really love the composition and treatment. And it looks like the seed is floating in space.

Jackie, it looks like some kind of seed pod and seed to me also. I love the angle and the textures

love the colors and textures of whatever it is.

I think the white frame detracts, other than the white frame I really like it.

on to what is it.......... hmmm a screen shot from the game Marble Madness??

I also think it's a seed pod and seed. I really love the texture/background, AWESOME all around.

    Jackie,

Greetings. I agree with Judy... Awesome! The texture is particularly effective. No idea what it is, but appears natural like seed pod & seed. Good show!

    Cheers,

My first thought was a seed and seedpod too. It looks like the seedpod has just popped open, shooting the seed out. I love the organic feel and the texture is awesome!

I would never have guessed Wisteria, not having seen it's seed and pod. A pleasing composition and excellent processing. The texture work goes perfectly with the subject. The white frame doesn't work for me. I like how the light part of the image helps me focus on the top part of the pods and the seed.

We have one and every fall on a warm, dry Indian Summer day the seed pods go off like popcorn. Amazing to watch (and hear -- they really make a large snap).
