Another image from New Brunswick. There is an old fishing boat sitting in the parking lot at the harbor that has gorgeous old paint and we were taking images to use for textures. This hole (I'm sure it has a nautical name and purpose) was in the side of the boat and I liked the view beyond.

Very nice close up, Cheryl. I like all the textures and color, and the bit of green visible through the hole.

It could be an eye socket of some huge fossilized creature.
This is what OOTB is about, presenting views not often seen or envisioned.

Great Image, I would have guess some type of culvert pipe.

I'm guessing it might be some kind of port hole.

Love the textures and colors, and that bit of green draws you right in, nice shot.

Very interesting Cheryl. I might almost be tempted to darken the boat, and lighten the landscape. The textures and POV are great.

Cheryl, love the color and textures. Is there a spider web in the hole? Alice may have had a similar view as she fell down the rabbit hole.

Love the texture and colors in the boat and the view through the hole made it much more interesting. I like the spider web!

Perfect image for this theme. Nice composition. Nice textures also. I wish the view through the hole stood out more, which is perhaps the point behind Jackie's suggestion. The green stands out beautifully, but the grey sky blends in with the boat. A good, OOTB image.
