    Default Cattle Egret

It was great to get out again, as Ive been busy at work some weekends, and the weekend that I was off, it was overcast. At this location, there are Grey Herons and egrets, so I thought I would post an egret flying against a distant tree BG. Taken just as the sun came up.

Nice and sharp Stuart with plenty of detail in the whites and the subject really pops of the green BG.

Excellent flight in beautiful lights. Tack sharp and beautiful composition.
Love the way it pops up against sweet BG.

Although beautiful light is, well, beautiful I jump for joy when it is overcast on an off day!

I really like the image, tons of wonderful details on the wings (which are nicely fully down-stroked too). Neat BG.

Lovely light, BG and breeding colours, Stu. Great plumage details in the white.
