Spotted a pair of lions who were lazing in the grasses & woke up upon our arrival. Was interesting to see them groom each other very calmly despite our presence. Is the image too contrasty? Or does it look ok?

Hi Sanjeev, overall it looks very good, especially the colour & blacks/shadows. Personally I would just selectively drop the exposure just for the whites & tongue a fraction, just for a depth/detail POV. There are better ways, but for this purpose and still mastering PP, it might be easier? Great to see that rasping tongue, especially the top, as it illustrates how they can systematically remove that last morsel off the bone. I wonder if you were able to have moved more to the left may have given you a better profile/POV of the two? techs look good. I think there is a better crop option, but lets see what others say/feel.

Hi Sanjeev - first thing that drew my attention was the bright whites. As Steve said there are lots of ways to tame/recover them. Colors look good and I too like that you can see the buds on the tongue. Excellent sharpness. If it were mine I would look at cropping some from the bottom because the bodies don't add a lot. It's all about the interaction.

Agree with the crop suggestion and I too like the behaviour. You could also crop vertical and eradicate a lot of the grasses encroaching from both sides.
