    Default A flat tailed Mongoose

    Yet another species from the Mara. He gave me many poses but this was straight on, though its kinda small in frame, I liked the eye contact.

    Hi Sanjeev - nice to see another underrepresented species here. I don't mind small in frame and this looks good. As you said the eye contact is great. If it were mine I would open the midtones on the mongoose a bit.

    Didn't see these guys when we were there...only Banded Mongoose.
    Rachel's made some good suggestions above. Nice use of the space/comp to not make the animal feel insignificant in the frame but also avoiding "death by cropping" .

    I like the space surrounding this and would keep it as it is.
