    A pretty static image, but I don't get to photograph shorebirds often :)

    Canon 1D4, 700mm
    1/2000, f7.1, iso640

    Full frame. A small oof fg shell cloned out.

    Hi Sid, excellent low shooting angle, and just love the soft light. The feather detail shows up nicely, well exposed and sharp. The muddy beak shows he/she has been feeding, and the surrounding BG is so smooth.

    A very clean image, fine detail. The background and foreground look silky smooth - was it like that?

    Hi Jon, yes, it was. Other than eliminating a small oof shell from the fg, curves and sharpening, this image is untouched.
