A simple & beautiful frame. the pano crop works perfectly for me.
Pose, reflection, water droplet & the snail makes the image a special one.
Great details, exp & shooting angle as well.

Sweet light, low angle and excellent IQ.
I especially like the snail and the water drop in front of the bird.
Minor, but I'd tone down the highlight in the reflection (of the bill)

Lots of interest here with the bird and his reflection, the waterdroplet and the snail. I've looked at this for a few minutes as it looks like it needs some ccw. The bird is perfectly level and I think that the ringlets of the puddle on the left side (as viewed) are what it causing this illusion. (If you do a browser scroll, you'll see what I'm talking about. Given that, personally I would crop from the left side. I don't think that room is important to the image either. I would removed the highlights in the reflection. (I assume you did some bill cleanup too or that should be there too, no?) Nice light, low angle and IQ.

Pretty cool! Although the snail adds lots of interest and I do like, my favorite part is the floating droplet. I agree coming in a bit from left would work well, and I saw the leveling illusion before reading Grace's comments too. Good techs, and processing.

Hmmm. What do I do with this? Love the juxtaposition of bird and snail. Great low POV and techs. I had the same reaction as Grace; it looks like it needs rotation, but is actually spot on. Another vote for removing the highlights that were left on the reflection after you cleaned the bill. I like the comp as is, since it includes the full ripple on the left.

nice low angle, the snail adds more interest. I'd also crop righter and remove the highlights in the reflection

Lovely image I reckon it need 0.32 degree CCW rotation, I like the crop but suspect 3:2 would look good too.

Thank you all for your helpful comments.
I apologize for not disclosing that I had cloned out the bill highlights. I took this image over 6 weeks ago and forgot.
I have rotated the image to 0.39 and cropped a bit off the left and removed the highlight from the bill's reflection.
    Hope the repost works.

Hi Gail, I really like the light in this, together with the sharp detail on the sandpiper. The snail in the image takes this to another level, as does the droplet 'sitting' ontop of the water. Great work on your repost. Well done.
