    From Green Cay @ 12/01/2007. Afternnon shot.
    This is a heavy crop.

    I attempted to clean the branches, especially the OOF one close to the head, but I was not succesful to make a clean job.

    40D, EF500mm f/4L IS USM +1.4x, Tripod
    1/400s, F5.6, ISO 250, EC+1, 700mm

    Tack sharp, nice light, great BG and pose. The perch is not the best IMO and I think that the left area is a little bit distracting but, man, I would love to have this one on my flies...
    If this is a heavy crop the quality of the original file must be very good!!!

    Beautifully captured Raul with gorgeous lighting and great pose. Excellent detail and I love how you can see the talons gripping the branch. I would be tempted to remove the tiny stick to the left. Very lovely image and thanks for sharing. A pleasure to meet you this week Raul.

    Now that's a sharp photo Raul! And a great BG too. I agree with the other posters about the perch.

    As nice as the bird is.........IMO worth working on the perch.

    I love how the talons wrap the branch. Your repost improves the image quite a bit. Nice background too.
