Very nice shot indeed, it would look great in a larger size say 1024 or 1200 px. Lovely timing/pose.
The border is ok but I find it slightly distracting - the image is strong so I would not be tempted to draw the audience's eye from it.

Great action shot! Nice focus, BG and freeze. Love the water drops.

As a personal preference, excluding reflexion situations, I always prefer to have more space on the top of the bird (I like to give it space to fly).

Very nice pose captured. I really like the splash and the color in the BG.
I would like to see more room at the top for the bird to "jump into".
Did you know you can post at a bigger size? 1200 x 900.

Definitely needs more room at top (and left to retain the ratio), and you could cropa bit at bottom to where the leg reflection ends. You could also eliminate the three small oof grey circles near that leg reflection. Love the pose here as well as the splashing action, and the BG colours are very appealing. Nice and sharp as posted too.
