You are on such a roll....
This just looks alive on the screen.
Very unusual and attractive BG to go with the amazing sharp and detailed Plover.

    Grace,

That plover just pops out of the bg. The detail on him is killer as well.

Yes, beautifully sharp and great light! I'd take some off the top and left, though, to get the eye out of the center.

Great low angle and BG. Super focus and detail!

The only critique is that it seems to centered. I agree with Diane's suggestion.

Thanks everyone...I will revisit the comp. When I originally processed this, I felt like trimming from the left side made the plover look too big in the frame. I was hoping that the mussels would keep the viewer's eye moving throughout the frame and that the centered comp would not be an issue. You answered my question!

Spectacular image with great IQ, wonderful details and colors.
Love the way it pops up against beautiful dark BG.

    Regards,
    Satish.

To me the comp is great as is and it is not centered at all. I look at the whole subject, not the eye, and there is much more room in front of the bill than there is behind the tail. Awesome techs, and the mussel habitat looks super. If I may suggest something is the eliminate the tiny pale oof element peeking in at left edge (just to give a cleaner finish there). I love the pinky toe turned up!!
