    What good would trip to the Neotropics be without a few hummingbird images?

    It's always fun (or maybe frustrating) to try to nail a good shot of these guys at flowering plants. I was happy with this one :-)

    very interesting bird, never would have seen one of these unless posted here.

    nice comp and capture, wishing the feet and tail were more in focus and sharp. such a great hairdo on this bird.

    Superb image. Very nice composition.Beautiful colors,perch and BG. Love the crest.
    Agree with Linz about tail and feet.Wish image was 1200x900.

    Gorgeous bird Glenn! Perfect raised wings and beak-in-the flower. I don't mind the slightly oof feet as it implies action, which I am sure this had in spades as you were shooting. As they say, it's sharp where it needs to be. You must be lovin' that new 600!
