Beautiful subject, and I really like the green on green motif you got here. Nice details and I love the slender pose and head turn. Terrific BG, and good thin perch (but too bad about the extra oof part). I'd crop about a third off the left (and add back at right if you want to retain the ratio). I'm thinking the contrast is a tad strong...

very nice pose and a good perch, it looks contrasty to me as well, the whites look blown. I would go back to RAW and try to recover the whites, less contrast and sharpen a bit less

    Richard,
Very nice image. I like the pose with nice head turn, colors of the Bee-eater and BG.
    Rest is mentioned above.

    Regards,
    Satish.

Thanks so much for the comments. I can see my post processing has let me down again. Steep learning curve but I will get there. Thanks for the help!

Hi Richard - Lovely detail on bird and great composition. Are you happy with the colours here as it looks a bit off to the ones I generally see. I know light plays a part on the image. Perhaps if you go back to raw as Arash has advised and also check WB again. JFFT. TFS
