Beautiful sepia toning, Cheryl. Lovely grouping of flowers and I like the selective focus. I haven't posted a theme image myself this week because all my recent photos haven't been taken in my backyard; they're all from the zoo, or the sunflower field that I visited recently, or the farmers' markets that I do.

I like the PP and the muted color.
I wish the stem behind the main focus flower was to the right or left of it and not right behind.

Cheryl, I like the PP. I would prefer the long central bg flower be moved to the left with separation from the focal point flower.

Love the tone you selected as well as the aperture you used to create the DOF.
I too would prefer the tall flower separated from the foreground flower.

I really like the treatment of this image, I too have tons of garden images and rarely do anything with them.
This is one that I would have had a hard time seeing the vision of, but it really works.
The only thing I might change is toning down the lower left flower just a bit.

Thanks everyone for your comments. For some reason the placement of the taller back blossom doesn't bother me
If it were moved to the left of the flower it would be too uniform a composition (to me) and eliminating it would eliminate the height that I liked. That's what's so nice about OOTB - everyone has different opinions.

Lovely toning, and I like the various phases. I am in the camp of flower separation too.

Nice work. The flowers are lovely! I'm not a big fan of monochrome, but you did a nice job. I've mixed feelings about the flower behind the main flower.

The tones are lovely, and I really like the different stages of the bloom. I think I like the composition just as it is. I'm okay with the flower behind the main flower because it does give the added height balance, and it just looks natural and works for me with this DOF.

Thanks, Cindy, those were my thoughts also
