    Nikon D3S 200-400MM @ 200 F4 1/2000 ISO200

    Another image from recent trip to Namibia. From the same sighting as my previous post. Basically full frame ,cropped from top. bottom and right. Taken late afternoon . Elephants walking on a chalk based track which reflects a lot of light.

    Hi Peter - Absolutely love this series. Difficult to chose between the two, I think I like this even more than the previous one. I like the rich color, the shallow DOF and the blue sky. The dust thrown from the trunk is awesome.

    love the dusty gang and colors. Very different.

    The f/4 comes very handy in this one

    Nice composition and love the flying dust. Did you add some effects to the closest elephant or is that just amazing lighting? Initially I thought that the white on the ele's face was bright sunlight but now I see that it's chalky dust which it's been throwing on itself... Great effect!!
