Hi Mervyn and welcome to BPN. Cool first post and that is an amazing array of birds in one image. If any thing , I would like to see just a little bit more room up top for the highest bird to have some space. These types of images are so tough to crop since the flyers go all the way across the page! I especially like the splashing bird (gannet?) on the right side

    Mervyn:

A big welcome to BPN, a great place to learn and grow as a nature photographer.

Quite a crew you have here, and I agree with Cheryl's comments

Was there a school of fish attracting all the birds?

    Cheers

Hey Mervin, welcome to BPN! Looks like you've got a who's who of Australian sea birds here. The repost is much stronger crop-wise. I can only suggest to leave the space as is but remove the cut bird at right edge (near the water line) for a cleaner finish on that side. There are also a couple at left you can do the same to. Of course, that is if cloning and such is within your own processing ethics.

    Looking forward to more!!

The bird which makes the splash is the Australasian gannets
