    Default Carolina Wren.

Here is an other shot of the same bird with better head angle.
I removed one OOF barely visible branch from the background.
I smoothened out the transition between the dark and light green at the top and under the tail.
No flash was used, the light in the eye is the reflection of the sky.
    Thanks for looking.

Excellent pose and super sharp details, Karl. Love the clean bg and your choice of comp.
Wrens are such interesting characters. I love watching them (don't have any pics yet).

Near-perfection is a good thing. Ditto Sidharth on all the positives. Is that a drop of water on the top of the base of the bill or a tick?

Thank you Artie. On the close side of the beak, it must be a drop of water as it was not there a few shots back as I just checked out.

Thanks Karl. Had it been drinking? If it were mine, I would lose it. Love the perfect pose, sharpness, and the sweet background. And the image design.... Pretty darned good.
