I've been gallivanting around in the jungles of Peru for the past month. What a great place to spend some time! So much diversity! Some of the lodges that I took my groups to have over 500 species on the list of birds seen. Just incredible!

Of all the birds we spotted one of my very favourites is this Orange-eared Tanager. I was really hoping to get an image like this of then feeding at a natural fruiting bush. For my money I'll take a shot like this over a full blown setup any day of the week :-)

    Glad to be home!

Great bird, great shot in true habitat, perhaps just a tad oversharpened

Great image of a beautiful bird. I agree that it seems to be a bit over sharpened. It may benefit by moving the bird a bit down in the frame and a bit over to the right.

Hi Glen, beautiful bird and great perch. Love the colours. Agree with the comments around sharpening and positioning. Have an awesome weekend. TFS
