    I believe its a juvi. Y
ou can see that some of the feathers are still growing in.
I took this shot yesterday morning.
The species is normally shy, hard to get in the open, but young birds are better in this regard.
I removed one OOF barely visible branch from the background.
I smoothened out the transition between the dark and light green at the top right corner.
    Thanks for looking.

Perfect wren pose, Karl. I'd smooth out the vertical transition line under his tail and work a bit on the steely eye look and then be real happy with this sweet image.

Karl, they were teeny tiny problems, but with an image this good, I think it's woth the extra mile. Love the repost.

Grace where do you see the steely eye? sorry but that is the reflection of the sky in the eye. No steely eye.

Karl I do like your original post but I don't know what you did to the repost. Now the eye looks unnatural buddy, look at the original file, I am sure that is not steely eye as mentioned by Grace, it is just the reflection of the sky in the eye. Love the light, sharpness and alert pose by the way.

Juan, perhaps I used an incorrect word in describing the eye . I did not like the gray -blue color of the reflection in the eye .

This is a beautiful clean image Karl, I personally like the OP save for that vertical line which Grace pointed out above (I see it has been sorted out already). Nice detail on the bird and lovely pose, love that green BG, the subject pops so nicely against it!

    Kind regards,
