I am very lucky to have a friendly herd of Mule Deer that graze their way around the neighborhood, frequently feeding in my yard. They keep my bushes, (and flowers ), well pruned! For this image I started with Topaz simplify 4 watercolor, then added a frame, and used PS smudge.

FYI, I am leaving today for Brazil and returning Oct 18. I doubt I will be able to connect to the internet while in the Pantanal, but I'll try. Keep those images coming!

What a great treatment -- it makes her look really cute. Love the tongue smacking down the last bit of one of your flowers, most likely. Out here they even eat our poison oak.

    Have a great trip!!

Like the soft pastel hues and the tongue masked back in. Nice treatment. Have a wonderful trip!

Very nice image, Nancy. I like the soft colors and the high-key look. The tongue sticking out is a great touch! I might try dodging the highlights in the eyes just a little, to give them a bit more "sparkle."

This is adorable. That bit of tongue--licking her lips after eating a tasty flower--is the perfect touch. The eyes seem to be smiling. Nice work. What software did you use for the frame?

Thank you everyone! Christopher, good idea on adding a bit more catch light in the eyes. Anita, for the frame I think I used one of the filters from PS for just the border. I created the border using the rectangle tool to make the selection. I am in the depths of the Pantanal in Brazil and for a short time have a good internet connection! I have seen 7 jaguars!! More when I get home.
