Hello Sanjeev! Great sighting and I am sure there's more where this came from In my humble opinion this image lends itself to a pano crop. Well exposed and you handled the lighting conditions very well, just a pity the lioness' eyes are half closed (hmmm... just shows the great delight she takes in her freshly caught meal). Looking forward to more images of this powerful lady lioness!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Sanjeev - She does look like she is happy to have the kill all to herself. The highlights look a little strong to me so I would run a luminosity mask at about 40%. If it were mine I would also reduce the reds and yellows slightly as it has that Canon skew. This comp works for me but Gabriela's suggestion of a pano crop will also work and give you a good alternative.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Hi Sanjeev, the comments above have really covered the main points, so all I can do is agree.

Would welcome your thoughts on other posting too.

    Mara Triangle?
I agree with the comments above, Sanjeev. Toning down highlights and adjusting colours will enhance the image. Not too gory as well...(for my tastes)

    Hi Sanjeev

Not really for my taste, either the picture or the gore. I have seen very good pictures from you, and to be frank, this is not one of them. I think both postproduction have similar problems as other recent posts, and I think your picture selection here is not of my taste. Picture selection is a difficult thing. It is central to photography, but then, here it is not always the point. If we here only posted our top 10 pictures this forum would be dead. So we post a lot of pictures that is not top notch. What I would like to se more often is a short text about the picture, about the scene or what in the picture you are struggling with or trying to convey. That would make the picture or the work with picture interesting.

    Best regards / Gregor

    Hi Snajeev,

you got very good suggestions above. I do like that the lioness looks so happy and even with the eyes half closed. That does not bother me at all. As Rachel said, she looks happy and does. Try the suggestions above, might pull it more up

    Have a great day

    Ciao
