I'll start working on "yard" pictures tomorrow. This was taken on my first day in New Brunswick, Canada. It started raining pretty hard and I took refuge in the covered bridge in St. Michaels harbor (which is very, very small). I decided to put the rain cover over my lens to simulate what I was looking at - pretty much out of the camera. Increased saturation about +5 in LR5.
    Thanks for looking

    Cheryl,

Greetings. Well, it's certainly OOTB! The more I look at it, the more it grows on me. It looks exactly like looking through a piece of plastic. I mean... I'm there!

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

This is exquisitely moody...and so rainy! Good thinking during a downpour. I like those bright bits of blue & turquoise, but not sure about that one vertical line of orange. Since it is nearly in the center it really catches my eye first.

Lovely mood and great lines. I'm okay with orange line. It complements the bright blues and still leads my eye to the turquoise shape at the end of the pier. Nice work in difficult conditions.

I really like the creativity and quick thinking on this one Cheryl. I only wish for the vehicle not to be there. Must have been a great workshop. He is very well known up here.

What a neat idea for a soft-focus lens! I really like how the idea fits the scene, but wonder if an alternate composition is to crop some from the left.
