I was thinking of my grand daughter when I was working on this! She loves to draw and is very free-spirited in her creations. The original flower was growing in my meadow-like yard. I added a texture, then partially erased. Overlaid a color gradient from PS, reduced opacity. Then a layer of fractalius. Finally into Topaz simplify 4, sketch.

I think you have captured the child like stokes and colours of a child, which I think is not an easy thing to do.

It is a perfect child's drawing, Nancy.

Very whimsical look, Nancy! Definitely looks like a child's drawing. I love the bright colors and the scribble-like pattern in the BG.

What they said -- quite amazing! These things often look plastic, but you've captured some real character of a drawing here.
