    Default Steppe Eagle

    Hi,

I took this shot in white mountain landfill, near Qom, south of Tehran. One of the best landfills that I have ever seen for watching & photographing raptors during their wintering.

Hi Mohsen, lovely pose and HA, and I like that we can see the different layers of feathers through the wing down to the tail. The eagle does pop from the BG, but I feel toning the BG down a touch more wont harm the image.

A handsome and powerful raptor, Mohsen, and you've captured him in great light with a perfect head angle. The different shades of brown and hint of greenery in the bg adds depth.
    Very nice image.

Beautiful eagle with a nice profile pose. Nice light, comp works well. With similar tones and colours the perch does get a bit lost in the BG, and I'd probably lighten (but not fully eliminate) the dark blotch at left by using a low opacity clone brush.
