Another great selection of images. It is getting harder to judge. So my picks for the Toning theme. in a three way tie...... I thought each one was great in its own distinctive way and I couldn't pick an outright winner.

    1. Grand Canyon Desert View by Michael-Gerald Yamasaki A classic shot and stunning vista with the toning done really well. I will have to try Michael's method.

    1. Morning at Babcock-Webb WMA by Cindy Cone. Such a great feel to this one. The colours add perfectly to the eerie feel. Great tonal range and great comp Cindy!

    1. Bristlecone Pine by Diane Miller. Really cool perspective, and I can feel the dry harsh desert heat! Even though some of the brights are hot, I thought it added to the desolate feel.

Honourable Mention to Judy Howle for Preening Geese. Lovely tones and great comp and reflections!

Congratulations, Michael, Cindy and Diane! Congrats also to Judy. Great images for the theme (I think it's one of the toughest themes) and there are so many ways to arrive at toning. Thanks to Kerry for suggesting it and guiding us with his links (and I hope he's feeling better). Thanks so much for judging, Jackie!!!

Thanks everyone. I am honored to be sharing this with Michael and Diane, and Judy. Another great theme, and one I wouldn't have been as likely to explore on my own. Thanks for judging, Jackie, and I must say that one of my favorites for the week was your Orchid re-work.
