The American Avocet is a rather uncooperative bird, always flying fast and landing beyond reach. The shot is sharp on a large monitor but I will not really know until I print.
Four hours each way and worth the hotel stay.

Hi Frank - I have never seen them in a group like this, never mind capturing it! I like the comp, but agree with Robert on the IQ visible on my monitor as well.

Very neat capture of these guys in flight. I've got to agree with Robert and Hennie though, the IQ just isn't there. Was this a large crop?
