    Default Preening Geese

I converted it to black and white high key by removing the small amount of movement in the water and used Alien Skin Exposure 5 (which I think is awesome!) and applied a split tone and a frame. I left it a little soft as it was quite misty.

Hi, Judy, I love this image. The toning is perfect, I like their poses and the framing.

Judy, this is marvelous! I love the fine details on the geese against the more diffuse bkgd. The water reflections and the simple bare piece of land really work beautifully for this effect. And the color is great. Also, I like that they geese are actively preening with the rest of the image serene and soft. Very well seen and created!

Thanks Nancy! I made that image a few years ago at a public lake on a cloudy/misty day. It's always been one of my favorites.
