    I like the composition you chose, Geir. Nice leg up.
    Excellent low POV.
    I wish the nictitating membrane was not visible.
    In hindsight ( it is so easy to critique "in hindsight") I would have opted for a higher ISO and more DOF although even at F 22 you couldn't get more than a couple of centimeters on the sanderling, but it still would help.
    The FG ends very sharply and I wonder if you applied NR selectively to that area which caused this abrupt transition edge. I always feather my NR selection by 10-15 pixels in this case to soften the edge ( without going near the bird of course)

    Wonderful composition. I like the low angle, the raised leg and the head turn.
